Commercial vehicles maker Ashok Leyland today said it has hiked the prices in all categories by 2.5 per cent and expected over 10 per cent sales growth this fiscal.
"We have hiked prices across all product categories by 2.5 per cent last week," Ashok Leyland Managing Director R Seshasayee said on the sidelines of the CII Annual Session.
Seshasayee said the commercial vehicle segment in India was expected to grow by about 10 per cent in 2006-07.
"We expect to outperform the industry," he said.
Hardening interest rates and spiralling oil prices were, however, a cause of concern for the company, he said.
On margins, he said, the company was hopeful that they would be at last fiscal's level.
"We are confident of tackling them, including by taking internal measures," he said.
